Can you change the mind of a teen or anyone for that matter?

Knowing what to do with desire? Getting rid of something that we know is not good for us? Can we identify what is good? What do we do with something our body finds pleasure in?

Teens appear to be faster and more open or totally opposite in trying new things than most of us who seen, experienced, chose to abstain, and practically endured. Don’t be fooled, its all by grace. Ready them as arrows, by pointing them in the direction they should go.

Our youth need our direction and demonstration but even more important they need the word to be implanted with secure roots so they can overcome every challenge they face. (Repent) Let us change our mind from wrong doing. They face many in the current times which make it even more important that we keep the word on our lips in our homes. Reading it, writing it and discussing it daily as the move through each trouble of the day. The routines appear to be adopted best when woven into the home. Recognizing every challenge we face can be found in the history of these life giving words because of who it points too. It’s so magnificent in teaching where wisdom begins, what promises we should keep, discernment of what’s good and beneficial, what things can never be bought or sold with no price that can contain, and greatest of all what love is…. Our God, our Lord Jesus and the Holy Sprit that resides with us are One, Holy in love and goodness. These are the humble words of a Dad willing to surrender it all because I know to whom it belongs. When I am weak, and in recognition of my weakness in the flesh is when I bare witness to His greatness. Not by my strength alone do I do any good thing apart from Him. So allow our little ones to draw near to the Heavenly Father in their weaknesses. Love them though the challenges so that they may endure by knowing His Laws given to us. Jesus walked here in flesh in order to demonstrate for us how to live and I am so thankful for the water, the spirit and the blood that testifies to this amazing gift. Please receive these words written in love and humility so that we may experience His good and precious gifts together as one in the body.

Please forgive any ignorance in me in attempt of this writing, I will point to some of the scripture in which is the true source of His word. I pray you receive this with love. Kidstrive blog.

Scripture:

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33-34‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown.””
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4:5-9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:9-13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“But where can wisdom be found? Where does understanding dwell? No mortal comprehends its worth; it cannot be found in the land of the living. The deep says, “It is not in me”; the sea says, “It is not with me.” It cannot be bought with the finest gold, nor can its price be weighed out in silver. It cannot be bought with the gold of Ophir, with precious onyx or lapis lazuli. Neither gold nor crystal can compare with it, nor can it be had for jewels of gold. Coral and jasper are not worthy of mention; the price of wisdom is beyond rubies. The topaz of Cush cannot compare with it; it cannot be bought with pure gold.”
‭‭Job‬ ‭28:12-19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:6-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:8-13‬ ‭NIV‬‬
