Becoming a Dad that is gentle

How do we grow hope in love as a Dad and a leader of our household? My Heavenly Father loves me and I see His love in the ones he surrounds me with and has called me to play a part in shepherding. Just when I felt boxed in and nothing I did was enough by my own strength; I surrender.

I surrender it all and draw towards His word with humble submission and a request to make in me a clean heart with wisdom to serve all that is His. The feelings of inadequacy, guilt, and feelings of not enough for the ones I love and my community; I surrender and lay every bit of it all at His feet.
